I feel dirty breaking my own code I held on to since the launch. I really wanted to game at 1440p 144hz with decent FPS (hopefully 144fps when I can). I'm getting insane with the latest covid lockdowns and as I live alone, I didn't see anyone since early January and I can't even visit my parents which was my social stuff last Fall. Hopefully I don't regret it since I wanted a 3080 but the 3070 is still king at 1440p and I don't do 4k and will probably never do it on the computer. The 3080 seems to have 1000$+ extra for scalped ones.Īmazon.ca had the EVGA 3070 FTW3 Ultra from a reseller at 1275$Cnd where the non scalper prices on different online stores seem to be 999$Cnd. I don't see how I will be able to go with a 3080 in the near and medium future so I decided to go for a 3070 (so a xx70 like my last few cards). I caved in and I'm so sorry to help scalpers.
